Delegates and alternate delegates serve as the primary communication link between area Girl Scout members and community networks. They also gather opinions about governance matters.
GSMW Annual Reports
Of the 121 council delegates and board members, 82 ballots were returned back to council. We had a quorum of delegates from a majority of the council’s districts affirm the board slate, and therefore, the slate was affirmed and approved. Thank you to all who participated!

2017 National Delegates
The 54th National Convention will take place October 4th – October 8th, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. GSUSA utilizes a formula based on council membership numbers as of September 30th, 2016 to determine the number of national delegates our council is allowed to send. This year we are allotted up to six national delegates.
National delegates attend the council sessions, elect the national board of directors and board development committee, approve changes to the Constitution or Bylaws of GSUSA, and vote on various proposals as representatives of Girl Scouting. They also generally participate in discussion in the run-up to the National Council Session in order to better represent the Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming.
