GSMW Robotics Success!

GSMW Robotics Patch

THE CHALLENGE WAS MET

The FIRST® LEGO League (FLL) Challenge this year, teams made a splash with ‘Hydro Dynamics’ where they identified a way to improve the way people find, transport, use or even dispose of water. They designed innovative solutions that add value to society by improving something that already exists, using something that exists in a new way or inventing something totally new.

THE COMPETITIONS ARE OVER

We are extremely proud of all 23 of our all-girl GSMW Robotics teams and their accomplishments this year. We congratulate the 9 FLL competition teams and 3 Jr FLL teams that participated in the MT and WY State Tournaments this winter. These girls competed amongst dozens of other FLL teams from all over MT and WY!

Check out this great MSU News article highlighting some of our teams from the Montana State Tournament this past weekend.

THE RESULTS ARE IN

A HUGE congratulations goes to the award-winning teams below:

Squad (Gillette)
1st Place: Inspirational

Water Avengers (Casper)
2nd Place: Presentation

Aqua Ducks (Missoula)
1st Place: Presentation

Yas Kweens (Butte)
2nd Place: Research

Let's see what you can do to show your inner G.I.R.L. (go-getter, innovator, risk-taker, leader) and have a ton of fun while doing it!
We are looking for interested troops, coaches/mentors, volunteers and individual girls to form FIRST LEGO League teams to represent Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming in the Fall of 2018.
