Earn your Brownie or Junior Citizen Badge and a Voter Girl fun patch with the League of Women Voters!  Be part of the fun and excitement of an election while learning how to lead positive change through civic action.

The program's fun sessions will include the basics of voting, being an educated and involved citizen, and taking action for a cause.  Juniors will participate in activities examining the government at the local, state, and national levels.  Brownies will explore citizenship, learn about the pledge of allegiance, and join a community celebration.  All activities closely follow GSUSA's Citizen Badge requirements.  To earn the badge, some participants may need to do an additional step outside of the program.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League was founded in 1920 in anticipation of the passage of the 19th Amendment confirming women's right to vote in the United States.   Learn more about the League of Women Voters at http://lwv.org and more about the Montana and Billings League who are coordinating the program at:  https://my.lwv.org/montana

Registration for this event is $10 per girl and closes on April 8th. After April 8th, your program registration is non-refundable.
