Get to Know Girl Scouts
Right now, Girl Scouts are meeting furry friends at their local animal shelters, giggling past lights-out at sleepovers, and learning how their favorite roller coasters work. Above all else, they’re having a blast—because they know bringing the fun is all about being their true selves, trying new things, and cheering each other on. Get ready to join the crew and bring a bit more happy to your life.
Girl Scouts is a way of life that brings out the best in your girl, even in the most challenging of times. While she is learning about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM); the outdoors; entrepreneurship; and important life skills, she’s also discovering new ways to make your family and community stronger, kinder, and better for everyone. Plus? Girl Scouts is FUN!

If you are interested in joining Girl Scouts and aren't able to attend one of the events listed, please complete the Girl Scout Interest Form and a GSMW staff member will contact you with more information.
VIRTUAL TRY-IT PROGRAMS: BEYOND THE RAINBOW (November - December) 
We’re excited to introduce our Try-It Kit Program for girls interested in joining us! For just $15, participants can take part in our Beyond the Rainbow Program. Join us for a virtual adventure where girls will explore the science of rainbows and light refraction while expressing their creativity and discovering the magic of color. To participate, girls will need reliable internet access and either a tablet or computer. A few common household items will also be required; we’ll provide a list in the confirmation email sent before the program. Younger participants may need adult assistance during the activities.
During this virtual journey Beyond the Rainbow, each girl will receive a kit in the mail containing supplies to create:
- Macramé Rainbow Keychain
- Prism Bead Necklace
- Kaleidoscope
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Please note that each session will cover the same activities, so sign up for only one date. Kits will be mailed within 7-10 business days after we receive your order, so be sure to choose a date that allows enough time to receive your kit before the event.
Girl Scout membership is not required to participate in this event. Each individual girl participant must register, even if there are multiple participants in the same household. Kindergarten and first grade participants should have an adult help them during the event.
