Volunteer resources available on MyGS

Many of your must-have tools, like gsLearn and the Volunteer Toolkit, are accessible when you log in to MyGS —always accessible via the icon on the upper right corner of our website.

The Volunteer Toolkit (VTK) is a customizable planning tool where you can find suggested meeting plans for most badges, access activity guides and badge requirements, track your Girl Scouts’ achievements, and so much more. It’s the digital planning assistant that will help you power a fun-filled—and organized—Girl Scout year.

You’ll find the Volunteer Toolkit via the left menu bar of MyGS in My Account. It’s accessible on any desktop, tablet, or mobile device.

Also, be sure to review the Volunteer Toolkit trainings in gsLearn before you start.

Click on My GS Log In link (also located in the upper right-hand corner) to log in and access gsLearn and the Volunteer Toolkit.

Through the VTK, troop leaders can:

Plan the troop’s calendar year.
View the troop roster and email families with one click.
View badges, Journeys and awards for all program levels including prepopulated tracks for younger and older Multi-Level troop groups (K–5 and 6–12).
Explore meeting plans that show a breakdown of every meeting, including a list of materials needed and editable time allotments for each activity within a meeting.
Record girls’ attendance at meetings and their badge and Journey achievements.
Add council or custom troop events to the troop’s calendar.
Enter the troop’s finances (depending on the council’s process).
Easily locate resources both national and local council resources

gsLearn

gsLearn is full of essential volunteer trainings and courses, like how to lead activities the Girl Scout way, safety procedures, and advice for guiding Girl Scouts at every grade level.

You’ll find gsLearn via the left menu bar of MyGS in My Account. It’s accessible on any desktop, tablet, or mobile device, and it will be populated with any trainings you should view.
