GSMW has a new tool for volunteers to navigate adult conflict-- the Volunteer Relations Conflict Management Roadmap. This resource will give you tools to navigate conflict with caregivers, other volunteers and even in your own personal life!
Log in to gsLearn and download the document for your use. You must be an active volunteer to access gsLearn.
Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming volunteer training about this valuable tool.
If your troop wants to go hiking, have an outdoor cookout, or go on an overnight campout, one participating adult volunteer must complete GSMW’s Outdoor Trainings. The first step in the training is available through gsLearn. The second part of the training is an in-person Outdoor Cookout Training.
Check out the Outdoor Resources & Training page for more details on Outdoor Training.
Your regional Membership Experience Manager (MEM) may be available to provide this training from April 15th - June 30th. Please fill out the Outdoor Cookout Training Request Form and your MEM will reach out to you to get this scheduled.
A minimum of six volunteers is needed to make this training successful. If you need help finding interested volunteers, we will be more than happy to help!
Whether you are about to get started or thinking about doing down the road, GSMW is here to help support volunteers and their troop, Juliette Mentors and their Juliette, as well as caregivers and their Girl Scout.
