Fall Financial Literacy Program for Families
What is the Fall Financial Literacy Program?
The Fall Financial Literacy Program is one of two council sponsored programs that combine educational activities with money earning opportunities. Girls ask friends and family to support them by purchasing magazines, nuts, candy and more.
By participating in the Fall Financial Literacy Program, Girl Scouts learn 5 essential skills for life:
- Goal Setting
- Decision Making
- Money Management
- People Skills
- Business Ethics
This program allows Girl Scouts to earn funds for activities prior to the Cookie Program.
- Limited to family, friends, and neighbors
- Does not involve door-to-door selling
- Is a great way for girls to earn money for the year
