What is the Fall Financial Literacy Program?
The Fall Financial Literacy Program is one of two council sponsored programs that combine educational activities with money earning opportunities for troops. Girls ask friends and family to support their troop by purchasing magazines, nuts, candy and more.
By participating in the Fall Financial Literacy Program, Girl Scouts learn 5 essential skills for life:
This program allows troops to earn funds for troop activities prior to the Cookie Program.
- Limited to family, friends, and neighbors
- Does not involve door-to-door selling
- Is a great way for troops to earn startup money for the year.
