National Convention

NCS is the business meeting where delegates from every council across the nation and from USA Girl Scouts Overseas meet to discuss, debate, and vote on issues important to the Girl Scout Movement.
Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital is our host council. We are grateful for their hospitality and support in preparing for and carrying out this important event for our Movement.
Contact the convention team, and check-out GSUSA’s National Convention web page.
We dream big. We spark change. We lead the way! There’s no better time and place to celebrate the incredible impact of Girl Scouts than in our nation’s capital.
Visit GSUSA’s National Convention web page. There, you will find links ticket information, prices, and event information. In addition, you will find links to search for convention-partner hotels.
On the 58th National Council Session and Girl Scouts Unite registration site, you’ll see the six-day schedule, explore the girl and adult workshops (with more added every month!), get help planning your trip, and more!
Have your girls, parents and guardians, and troop leaders take the “Am I ready for travel?” quiz on pages four to six of the GSUSA's Guide to U.S. Travel. If girls aren’t quite ready, your group should start practicing travel now to prepare by July 2026.
If your Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming troop or family expresses interest in attending the 2026 National Girl Scout Convention, complete the 2026 Girl Scout National Convention Interest Form to have your contact information added to a list of interested travelers.
View GSMW’s 2026 National Convention Travel Toolkit to help your troop plan and implement your trip to the 2026 National Convention. Inside, you will find a timeline, budget worksheet, a planning worksheet, and more!
