As Girl Scouts, we strive to make the world a better place. To help fulfill our mission, GSMW invites all community-minded Girl Scouts, their troops, and families to participate in our council-wide Spring Spruce.  Together, girls, troops, and families will see first-hand the tremendously positive effects of community service.

Girl Scouts from across northeast Wyoming will meet at Gillette's Bicentennial Park to collect garbage from all around the park and the bike path.  Participants can also work in the dog park to complete a special dog park clean-up all while forming a deeper connection to their community.

Participants may drop-in anytime between 930AM and 10AM to begin working on their service projects.  Groups can stay as long as they want until 11:00AM. At all times, children must be accompanied by an adult.  Troops must follow required adult-to-girl ratios.

At the start of the event, all registered participants will receive a GSMW trucker cap.  At the end, child participants will also receive a GSMW Spring Spruce fun patch to commemorate our Sisterhood's momentous effort to benefit our communities.

In a confirmation email before the event, GSMW will send participants the exact details including location, project goals, and a supply list.

If the date, time, or location for this community service event doesn't work for your group, plan a Spring Spruce day with your troop, household, or service unit.  Your independent group can purchase the hats and the patches through this form:  Spring Spruce Independent Group Form.  Independent Spring Spruce events must occur in June.  Email customercare@gsmw.org with questions about independent Spring Spruce events.

Registration for this event is $7 per participant and closes on May 15th.
After May 15th, your program registration is non-refundable.
