From the sweeping plains to the rolling hills and mountains, into the bustling cities of our great council, this June, Girl Scouts, their friends, and their families will gather to create positive change in their communities during our annual Community Day events. This year’s events will take place over one week starting on National Trails Day, June 1st, and ending on June 8th. Community Day events are open to Girl Scouts of all ages, their friends, and their families.
Girl Scouts from across Billings will help beautify Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter to help make some furry friends' lives a little better! Girls will be helping with yard clean-up, weed pulling, picking up trash, and painting!
All participants will get a snack and a custom GSMW Community Day sticker at the event. Girl Scouts will also receive a fun patch.
Non-Girl Scout friends, siblings, and tagalongs are welcome to participate, but spots are limited. At all times, children must be accompanied by an adult. Troops must follow required adult-to-girl ratios.
In a confirmation email before the event, GSMW will send participants the exact details including location, project goals, and a supply list.
If our GSMW-sponsored events don’t work with your group’s schedule, use the Community Day Independent Group Form to share your project overview and participant numbers and to purchase patches and stickers.
Registration for this event is $5 per girl and closes on May 19th. After May 19th, your program registration is non-refundable.
