Every year, thousands of Girl Scouts explore the natural wonders found across our country during the Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend. Girl Scouts nationwide will convene at State Parks to celebrate our shared love of the outdoors.
This year, join us at Curt Gowdy State Park to expand your outdoor skills in navigation, survival and Leave No Trace! We will take a night hike, enjoy evening campfire and various other programs with a local interpretive ranger at this one night camp out.
Girls and Troops can arrive on Saturday anytime after 4:00pm. Once online registration closes, we will communicate with participants about arrival times and the process for arrival and departure. Daisy Scouts must register with an adult, all other girls can attend as a group with at least one adult accompanying. Saturday night dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch will be provided. Park day use fees have been waived for this event.
Girl Scouts can choose not to camp and only attend on Sunday. Non-overnight attendees' arrival time is 8:30am.
At the end of the event, participants will receive an exclusive Girl Scouts Love State Parks 2024 fun patch as well as some additional swag from various activities throughout the day.
We are so excited to host this council sponsored camp for all girls and look forward to camping with you and your troop! If you plan to attend, be sure to register everyone so we can prepare for the right number of participants.
Registration for this event is $25 per girl and closes on August 29th. After August 29th, your program registration is non-refundable.
