Join Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts for a social night out at Laramie's newest wood and paint studio! Girls will choose all the details to complete the project of their choice and design a masterpiece that is theirs to take home at the end of the program.
Girls can choose one of three projects options:
1) PERSONALIZED WOOD BOX: Create a custom wood box as a
personalized decor piece or gift box for someone special. Choose from
a variety of designs and customize your project with your choice of
paints and stains.
2) EMBROIDERY ON WOOD:This project is made from birch that has a laser pattern engraved into it. Participants will do a simple backstitch with embroidery floss. Paint or stain the wood project as you desire, then complete your embroidery. You can add personalized details (family name, simple quote, etc.) with a custom adhesive stencil.
3) BARN QUILT FRAMED SIGN: Make your very own 12"x12" Framed Barn Quilt! Customize your project in the studio with your choice of stain & paint colors.
After registration, you will receive a link to choose your project and customization options. A knowledgeable instructor will lead the class and guide each participant through their project. GSMW will provide refreshments and a fun patch.
Member volunteers can register to create a project with their girls. Due to limited space, Tag-a-longs or other guests are not permitted.
Registration for this event is $28 per participant and closes on December 26th. After December 26th, your program registration is non-refundable.
