Horseback riding teaches girls responsibility, patience, discipline, understanding, empathy, compassion, problem solving, and self-control. At the Beartooth Pony Club, girls will be in a supportive and encouraging environment that will help them try a new skill and have fun without pressure or discouragement. This fantastic program covers horse safety, grooming, tacking-up, care, and feed, plus fun horse crafts and games! Girl Scouts will also receive a beginner riding lesson.

Girls will get to participate in a fun and interactive environment where they will also learn:
• Horse Breeds, Color, and Uses
• Beginning Equitation
• Beginning Fundamentals of Riding

Riding helmets will be provided. Please note that adults who register to attend will be expected to help at the event, and adult registration does not include horseback riding.

Please note that this program is the same as the Morning Horsin' Around program on the same day, just choose the time that works best for you!

Registration for this event is $40 per girl and closes on May 13th. After May 13th, your program registration is non-refundable.
