STEM the Gap Academy is a woman-led organization empowering the next generation of girls in STEM. All ages of Girl Scouts can earn badges and patches through virtual classes led by real-life woman scientists. Register one Girl Scout or your whole troop!

- Cybersecurity Badges: Discover the world of cybersecurity with Stem the Gap Academy's immersive workshop for Girl Scouts. Earn all three Cybersecurity badges for each age group with STGA!
- Coding Badges: Step into the exciting world of coding to explore how technology can bring stories and ideas to life. From game and app design to java script and more, STGA’s woman scientists will teach Girl Scouts of each Girl Scout level while helping them earn various coding badges.
- Chess Badge & Patch Programs: Chess GirlTM, prepares students to take on tomorrow's world with confidence, resilience and enthusiasm. Through these badge and patch programs, STGA delivers an innovative and engaging learning experience designed to help students calculate risk, prepare for the unexpected, and confidently discover and nurture their inherent strengths.
- STEM Career Exploration Badges: In STGA’s STEM Career Exploration Badge programs, Girl Scouts will discover the meaning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and explore why having more girls’ voices and perspectives in these fields is vital. Together, we’ll reflect on how we already make a positive impact and brainstorm how to use those strengths to create meaningful and exciting careers in STEM.
- Artificial Intelligence Patch Programs: In this STGA class, girls explore the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and gain a deeper understanding of how it works and impacts our lives. Girls will get hands-on experience working on an AI project online, allowing them to see AI in action and think like real-world innovators. This inspiring class will encourage girls to ask big questions, think critically, and see the exciting role they can play in shaping the future of technology.
