Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Lone Pine - Kalispell (Grades K-12 & Adults)

Girl Scouts, it’s time to lead the way at your favorite state parks! Join Girl Scouts across Montana, Wyoming, and the nation as we celebrate our shared love of the outdoors. From the sweeping plains of eastern Montana to the rugged mountain ranges of Wyoming, Girl Scouts Love State Parks invites you—and your friends and family—to explore, discover, and connect with some of the most breathtaking public lands in our region.

GSMW is teaming up with Lone Pine State Park to offer an exciting hands-on program all about local wildlife. Before hiking, participants will explore a variety of animal species with help from park staff and get an up-close look at animal skulls and hides. They’ll learn how to identify carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores based on teeth and other features, and even get to touch and examine real animal hides. Afterward, we’ll head out on a short, interactive nature hike to spot signs of wildlife, explore the trails, and learn how to respect and protect the environment while enjoying the beauty of the park.

Every Girl Scout will receive a fun patch to remember their adventure at the park. Snacks will be provided by GSMW. This event is open to Girl Scouts, their friends, and family members—everyone is welcome! Please be sure to register all participants, including both adults and children.

Registration is $7 per girl and $4 per adult or non-Girl Scout friend or siblings. Registration closes on August 31st.  After August 31st, your program registration fee is non-refundable.
