Start Your Engines and rev up your curiosity! Girl Scouts will zoom into the world of cars with exciting, hands-on activities that explore how vehicles work and what keeps them moving. Les Schwab will show girls a variety of auto parts and share tips on what to check on a car to keep it running smoothly. Girls will get a behind-the-scenes look at the mechanics of motion, and they will put their new knowledge to work toward earning their Automotive Badge.
Every participant will drive away with a special fun patch to show off their achievements. Parents and troop leaders are encouraged to help girls complete the remaining Automotive Badge steps after the program.
GSMW will keep everyone fueled with a light snack. This is a Girl Scouts-only adventure, so please, no tag-alongs..
Registration for this event is $7 per girl and closes on October 9th. After October 9th, your program registration is non-refundable.
