Join us for a comprehensive Hunter Safety Course designed especially for Girl Scouts! Over the weekend, participants will gain essential outdoor and hunting knowledge, including Wyoming hunting regulations and laws, firearm safety, wildlife identification, survival skills, habitat management, compass navigation, and proper use of bear spray.
The course concludes with a written test on Sunday. Successful participants will earn their certificate toward a Wyoming hunting license.
Schedule:
Friday: 6:00–8:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am–4:00
pm
Sunday: 9:00 am–4:00 pm
Snacks, drinks, and two lunches are provided throughout the weekend. Each Girl Scout will also receive a fun patch to commemorate completing this important training. Adults are welcome to register, too!
Registration for this event is $15 per girl and closes
on October 10th.
After October 10th, your
program registration is non-refundable.
