Join us to learn more about supporting your Girl Scouts with mental health challenges.
Did you know that the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) reports that 1 in 5 teens and young adults lives with a Mental Health condition? Do you want to learn additional skills to support and assist the girls in your troop, community, and others?
Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. Complete 2 hours of pre-work and then join us for an in-person session of learning about Youth Mental Health First Aid. After completion of the course, you will be a certified Youth Mental Health First Aider!
Registration for this event closes on February 28th.
