Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Lone Pine - Kalispell (Grades K-12)
Across the country, Girl Scouts are building skills and making lasting memories as they discover the the beauty, history, and adventure waiting in their state parks. Venture outside with GSMW, and join this nationwide Girl Scout movement!
At Lone Pine State Park, participants will learn about the unique adaptations that help beavers survive, then work in small groups to build their own beaver dam. After the activity, they'll enjoy a short hike to explore the natural beauty of Lone Pine State Park.
Located just five miles southwest of Kalispell, Lone Pine State Park was established in 1941 when Ernest and Hazel White donated 162 acres to the state for public recreation and conservation education. The park now features 7.5 miles of scenic trails and was named after a lone evergreen tree that once guided early settlers across the Flathead Valley.
All participating girls will receive a Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch. Girl Scouts, their parents, and their friends and family are invited to this special event!

Registration for this event is $8 per girl and closes on August 30th.
After August 30th, your program registration is non-refundable.
