Ways to Support

Invest in Girls. Change the World.
At Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming, we believe every girl has an important role to play.  Together, we are able to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

In Montana and Wyoming, 45% of girls require financial assistance to participate in Girl Scouting.  We rely on friends like you to make a difference in the lives of girls.  Thank you for investing in tomorrow’s leaders today.

When you support Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming, you support more than 8,100 girls and over 2,600 adult members.

There are many ways you can invest in girls and help them change the world.  Here are some of the ways your donation may be used.

  • Fund an annual Girl Scout Membership and uniform for a girl
  • Support girl programs that influence skills development such as STEM, financial literacy, life skills and community service
  • Send a girl to summer camp to help girls get outdoors
  • Improve our camp properties to enhance girls' camp experience

Support STEM Programming in Rural Areas

Support STEM* programming in rural and reservation areas throughout Montana and Wyoming!

The Mobile STEM Learning Center will provide hands-on STEM experiences to girls, starting at an early age.  Approximately 67% of our council’s population live in rural areas. This translates to hurdles that can include a lack of access to honors courses, high-level technology business exposure, as well as limited access to quality curriculum and vigorous and engaging math and science courses.

With the Mobile STEM Learning Center, we take the STEM experience to girls. This Mobile STEM Learning Center allows us to create and optimize an environment where girls explore freely, expand their perspectives and, hopefully, pique their interest and confidence to explore STEM even more. When there's space for a girl’s imagination to grow, there's no stopping where she'll go.

Legacy Giving & Juliette Gordon Low Society
Girl Scouting is about visionary leadership.
Legacy giving is about making that vision last.

When you make a legacy gift at GSMW, you bestow the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience to future generations of girls.

Not only will your gift make a difference in the lives of our country’s future leaders, but the best gift plans improve your financial and tax situation – often right away.

We invite you to explore the opportunities that combine your philanthropic giving with your financial needs and tax-planning strategies.  Through creative gift planning, you can secure your own financial future, as well as ours.

Gifts of all sizes are important and welcomed by GSMW.  Disclosure of gift amount is not required.  To design a gift that benefits the people and organizations you care most about, we recommend you obtain the professional counsel of an attorney who specializes in estate planning.  We can work with your advisors to help you plan for tomorrow and receive maximum benefits today.  Access a wealth of additional information.

The Juliette Gordon Low Society was established to thank and honor friends of Girl Scouting who choose to make Girl Scouts part of their legacies and a beneficiary of their estate plans.

As a JGL Society member, you will receive special invitations during the year and will be listed as a Society member in select Girl Scout publications.  You will also receive a special membership lapel pin.
