Ring in the new year at the second Girl Scout Art Creative Series workshop at Vida Art Studio!
This January, Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts are invited to celebrate 2026 by learning hoop weaving in this workshop designed just for Girl Scouts! In this hands-on class, girls will explore the basics of weaving, using fiber, beads, and found materials to craft their own dream hoop, capturing all their hopes and creative vision for the new year. Girls are invited to bring materials from home that represent what they’d like to experience in the new year, like photos, special trinkets, or other mementos to weaving into their hoop.
No prior art experience needed—just come ready to create and have fun! All materials provided. Girls will leave with a fun patch and their weaving project!
Watch for more classes in the Girl Scout Creative Series - they will be hosted monthly December through April!
Registration for this event is $25 per girl and closes on December 31st. After December 20th, your program registration is non-refundable.
