Get ready to get your hands dirty while learning real-life skills you can use every day! At the Helena Food Share Farm, Girl Scouts will work alongside farm staff and volunteers to care for the gardens through hands-on seasonal activities like weeding, watering, harvesting, planting, and general farm upkeep.

As girls work together, they'll practice responsibility, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and perseverance while learning how to care for plants and complete tasks from start to finish. They'll also discover where food comes from and how their work can make a difference for families in our community.

Whether you're an experienced gardener or have never picked up a trowel, there's something new to learn! Girls will build confidence by trying new tasks, working through challenges, and seeing the results of their efforts. They'll leave with new skills, new friends, and the satisfaction of knowing they helped their community.

Families are invited to join the fun! Adults and tag-a-longs are welcome to work alongside their Girl Scout, making this a great opportunity to spend time together outdoors while learning, serving, and growing together. Girl Scouts will receive a fun patch.

Registration for this event is $5 per girl and closes on October 5th.
After October 5th, your program registration is non-refundable.
