We're excited to announce that beginning in 2027, camp registration will move from April to January.
In addition, we are introducing Priority Camp Registration, a new reward included in the 2026 Fall Product Program.

Interested in attending summer camp?
At our camps, campers build independence, self-confidence, and leadership skills.
Our campers grow through many different adventures at camp. However, participants can only reap these benefits if they are emotionally prepared for overnight camps. To help prepare for camp next summer, get your camper outside regularly, have her stay at a relative’s home, or try a sleepover or backyard campout at a friend’s house.
Is your camper not ready for solo camping?
No worries! If your camper isn’t ready to come to camp for the week on their own, GSMW offers weekend camps that you can attend with a troop leader, favorite female adult, or your whole family. We also offer shortened week camps that are only 3 nights for girls only.

- Wednesday, April 22 – Early Bird registration opens at 9 AM
- Wednesday, May 6 – Campers pay full price
*Girls who sell 800 boxes of cookies can choose their reward to be a $150 camp credit to be redeemed only by the Camp Credit Earner. Girls who sell 1000 boxes of cookies can choose their reward to be a $250 camp credit that can be redeemed only by the Camp Credit Earner. Girl Scouts that qualify will be notified by email prior to registration.

ONLINE REGISTRATION 
Before registration opens, take a few minutes to get set up:
- Already have an UltraCamp Account? Make sure to log in to ensure you can access your account.
- Reset your password if needed as UltraCamp now requires a password reset every 90 days per their updated privacy policy
- Don't have an UltraCamp Account yet? You can create your account ahead of time. This must be done by a caregiver for the camper attending.
Please be aware of the following:
- Our camps fill up quickly, so be sure to have multiple options ready when you register!
- Camper's grade in Fall 2026 must be within the grade levels listed for each weeks theme, no exceptions will be allowed.
- Early Bird pricing (April 22 - May 5) will automatically be applied during registration. There is no Early Bird pricing for Family Camp.
- During registration, a $50 non-refundable deposit is due per camper.* Payment can be made in full or via a payment plan for scheduled payments. Family Camp non-refundable deposit is $100 per cabin.
- Financial Assistance is available for those in need. Applicants are required to pay the $50 deposit and provide household and financial information.
- Campers must have a caregiver create an UltraCamp account to register. You'll find health forms, signed authorizations, confirmation packets, and much more. After registration, keep an eye on your email for additional instructions, reminders, etc.
* Troop Leaders: Troop Camp registration will start with a pre-order process done by the Troop Leader and will require payment of the deposit for each spot you hold for your group. Read the Troop Pre-Order Request Instructions.

How do I purchase a Happy Camper Kit?
Happy Camper Kits are only available for purchase in UltraCamp and it is highly recommended to purchase it during camp registration. There are a limited amount of Happy Camper Kits available, so don't wait!
Each kit includes a variety* of fun and practical camp essentials such as a mini hairbrush, flashlight, journal, and sunglasses, all packed in a drawstring bag. Campers will also get to choose a special SquishmallowTM upon arrival at camp.
Don't forget to order your Happy Camper Kit during camp registration, while supplies last.

How do I pre-order a Camp Hoodie, Tie-Dye Shirt or Water Bottle?
Once camp registration opens to all campers, an order form will be available to submit your pre-order request and payment to GSMW. All pre-order items will be delivered to your girl when she arrives at camp.

Safety & Camp Preparation
Whether this is your first time at Girl Scout camp or you're an experienced camper, GSMW Summer Camp will be one for the books as you make new friends and memories to last a lifetime! We believe nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of every camper and staff member. Let's take a look at everything you need to prepare for camp.
SAFETY AT CAMP
We believe nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of every camper and staff member. Every decision we make is rooted in creating a secure, supportive environment where Girl Scouts have the freedom to explore, play, and grow—discovering their strengths and challenging themselves with confidence. This philosophy guides how we train our team, design daily activities, and build partnerships, and we take great care to ensure all procedures, equipment, and programs align with the Girl Scout Law.
Camp Staff
- Leadership team staff are over the age of 21 and there are two adult counselors per unit area.
- All staff members are background checked and trained.
- Trained in First Aid and CPR, behavior management, bullying intervention, safety procedures, and more.
- GSMW has worked with a clinical psychologist to support a wecoming and safe environment.
Emergency Procedures
- Communication between units through walk-throughs and walkie-talkies, especially at night.
- Agreement and working relationship with local emergency services to assist with emergency response as needed.
- Staff trained to anticipate and respond to situations that may arise at camp.
Medical Information
- Healthcare Supervisor has high-level medical training, childcare experience, and dedication to mental health support.
- Camp Manager is Wilderness First Responder certified.
- Camp will provide over-the-counter medications in both adult and child does such as: Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Benadryl, Tums, and more.
- Camper medications must be brought at check-in in original containers.
Partners
- Council check-in with partners annually to ensure they are still working at the Girl Scout Standards.
- Partners are expected to hold proper certification, insurance, and waivers for campers.
- Council staff ensure that partners meet the Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoints.

At our camps, campers build independence, self-confidence, and leadership skills.

Prepare your girl by getting her outside regularly, having her stay at a relative’s home, or having her try a sleepover or backyard campout at a friend’s house. If she's not ready for a full week, have her try one of our short week camps.

CAMP LOCATIONS
Important Note: The date of our camp locations have changed. Timbercrest Camp and Camp Castle Rock have switched schedules. Be sure to check the new dates for each location.
June 7 - June 28
Camp Castle Rock (Butte, MT)
Surrounded by aspen groves and rolling hills, Camp Castle Rock in the Little Basin Valley features a historic 1920s log lodge and modern amenities, including an updated amphitheater and cabins.
July 5 - July 26
Timbercrest Camp (Red Lodge, MT)
Timbercrest Camp, in the Beartooth Mountain Range foothills, spans 40 acres along Rock Creek. It features meadows, pine trees, boulders, rustic cabins, tipis, and historic facilities.
July 30 - August 16
Camp Sacajawea (Casper, WY)
Perched on 180 forested acres atop Casper Mountain, Camp Sacajawea has hosted campers since 1936. Once limited to wall tents, it now features a modern lodge, art barn, and yurts. It’s home to unique programs like Silver Spurs, inspiring young horseback riders.

MYSTERY MISSION
Grades 2-6 | Full Week, Short Week (Badge Work)
Something suspicious is going on at camp…and we need your help to get to the bottom of it! Strange clues have been popping up and it’s up to our brave campers to piece them together and uncover the truth. Throughout the week, you’ll dive into the world of mystery-solving as you create clever disguises, dust for fingerprints, and follow a trail of hints that lead to a top-secret mission. The Casper Police Department will make a special visit to Camp Sacajawea to share real detective techniques and help you put your mystery solving skills to the test. Are you ready to join the investigation and become a true camp detective?
CREATURE CONNECTIONS - NEW!
Grades 2-8 | Full Week
Calling all animal lovers! Get ready for an unforgettable week at Timbercrest Camp. Throughout this week, campers will have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of nature’s most fascinating creatures. You’ll come face-to-face with animals from Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary and Zoo Montana, discovering what makes animals and their environment unique. Our friends from the Montana Audubon Center will also stop by to share their expertise about the creatures that call our camp surroundings home.
MASTERPIECE MAKERS
Grades 2-12 | Full Week, Short Week (Badge Work)
Get ready to paint, sculpt, draw, and create like never before! This camp is perfect for young artists who love to explore, experiment, and express themselves in endless creative ways as we dive into a brand-new medium each day. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just beginning your creative journey, this camp is all about exploring your unique style, building confidence, and having fun while making something truly your own. By the end of the week, campers will have a collection of original masterpieces and a whole new appreciation for the power of imagination!
OUTWIT, OUTLAST, OUTDOORS
Grades 2-8 | Full Week, Short Week (Badge Work)
Do you have what it takes to survive and have fun in the wild? Become part of friendly teams and take on a week filled with exciting challenges, team-building games, and outdoor adventures! Learn how to build fires, make shelters, and practice archery, then apply your knowledge in real time during head-to-head competitions. Are you ready to outplay, outwit, and outlaugh your way through the best week of summer?
MIGHTY MOUNTAINEERS
Grades 4-8 | Full Week
At Camp Castle Rock, campers will tackle the challenge of bouldering, build confidence as they learn about and care for horses, and journey deep beneath the earth to explore the awe-inspiring Lewis & Clark Caverns. At Timbercrest Camp, campers will raft through the rushing waters of the Stillwater River, saddle up for a scenic horseback ride through the Beartooth Mountains, and meet some of Montana’s incredible native wildlife at the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary.
Please Note: Campers over 200 pounds may be limited in some activities.
EXTREME EXPLORATION
Grades 6-12 | Full Week
At Camp Castle Rock, explorers will soar through the trees on ziplines, float down the scenic Madison River, take on new heights while indoor bouldering, and discover the incredible underground world of Lewis & Clark Caverns. At Timbercrest Camp, the adventure continues with outdoor rock climbing, a rafting journey down the Stillwater River, a scenic trail ride in the Beartooth Mountains, and the chance to spend time at the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary meeting remarkable animals.

Our partners at Madison River, who we typically go tubing with, have told us that the low snowfall this winter has resulted in a low flow year for the river. They have informed us they will not be able to open until June 13th . Unfortunately, this means our Extreme Exploration camp the first week of Castle Rock, June 7-12th, will not be able to go tubing. We are working on finding an alternative activity and appreciate your understanding with these extenuating circumstances. |
DIG IT! ROCKS & GEMS
Grades 4-12 | Full Week
At this Camp Castle Rock exclusive, explorers will discover the wonders of geology through hands-on activities, exciting field trips, and real underground exploration. Whether they’re hunting for sapphires, exploring the depths of a cave, or cracking open geodes, campers will come home with real specimens, unforgettable experiences, and a new appreciation for the ground they walk on. Guided by geology enthusiasts, campers will uncover the stories the Earth has been telling for millions of years while building curiosity and a sense of adventure.
GRANNY GETAWAY
Grades 6-12 | Full Week, Short Week (Badge Work)
Kick back, slow down, and unwind during a week dedicated to all things cozy and comforting. Each morning begins with a peaceful sleep-in. Campers can curl up with a good book, piece together a puzzle, sip cocoa with friends, or pamper themselves with relaxing face masks. As the day unfolds, we’ll bake delicious goodies, make crafts, and enjoy activities that fill the heart as much as they soothe the mind.
SILVER SPURS
Grades 2-12 | Full Week
GSMW is excited to continue our partnership with C Bracket Horse Barn at Camp Sacajawea! Get ready for a week full of horsemanship, hands-on learning, and unforgettable barnyard fun. Whether you’re brand new to riding or looking to sharpen your skills, this experience is designed to meet you where you are and help you grow. Campers will not only spend time in the saddle but also explore the fascinating world of horse care and behavior. Learn to lead, groom, and care for these amazing animals, all while gaining confidence and connection along the way.

TROOP CAMP - CRAFTY COOKS
Grades 2-12 & Adults
Come craft, cook, and camp the weekend away with us! This year’s troop camp is all about mastering the art of campfire cooking and diving into creative crafts. Whether you’re roasting, baking, or crafting something amazing, we can’t wait to see what you’ll make. It’s going to be a weekend full of fun, flavor, and imagination—don’t miss it!
- Due to Girl Scout Safety Regulations, adults and campers will not be able to sleep in the same cabin.
- All registrants will pay the same fees. Adults are expected to actively participate in activities and supervise their troop’s campers.
- Troops must have two registered Girl Scout volunteers with approved background checks and meet GSUSA’s required adult-to-girl ratios.

LONG WEEKEND CAMP
Grades K-8 & Adults
Join us for an unforgettable four-day camp experience designed for kids and female volunteers alike! Our program puts our campers first, offering them an action-packed schedule filled with engaging activities while adults participate in trainings and connect with fellow volunteers. Throughout the day, campers will dive into arts and crafts, nature exploration, and team-building games all led by our enthusiastic staff. They’ll make new friends, discover new interests, and create memories that last a lifetime! This year, adults will have the opportunity to complete their First Aid and CPR Certification during camp. If you choose not to take part in this training, alternative activities will be available. Each evening, the whole camp comes together for fun all-camp activities sharing stories, laughter, and experiences that strengthen community connections. Get ready for four days of Girl Scout gatherings, skill-building, games, and all things camp!

GO CAMP
Grades K-8 & Adults
Join us for a laid-back weekend camp where campers can enjoy the fun of camp alongside the supervision of their favorite female adult—whether it’s mom, auntie, grandma, or a special family friend! Spend two fun-filled nights at Girl Scout camp. This is a fantastic chance for adults to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on creating lasting memories with their Girl Scout. New outdoor adventures and creative opportunities are waiting for you.
- Due to Girl Scout Safety Regulations, adults and campers will not be able to sleep in the same cabin.
- Campers must be accompanied by a supervising female adult companion who is a registered Girl Scout volunteer with an approved background check, registered for the camp.
- All registrants will pay the same fees.
FAMILY CAMP
Grades K-12 & Adults
Join us at Camp Castle Rock or Timbercrest Camp for an unforgettable weekend full of family bonding and nature viewing. Enjoy classic camp traditions like crafting, hiking, and singing songs around the campfire. Bring the whole family, including dad, brother, grandpa, and all your other loved ones, regardless of gender!
- A “family” must include at least one Girl Scout and one registered supervising Girl Scout adult volunteer with an approved background check.
- Girls in grades K-12 are required to register as members of Girl Scouts.
- Registration is per cabin, which holds up to four people.
CADETTE, SENIOR, AND AMBASSADOR SPECIALTY PROGRAMS (Grades 6-12)

HIKE, SADDLE, & PADDLE - NEW!
Grades 7-12 | Full Week
Yellowstone National Park
Get ready for the ultimate mountain adventure! This unforgettable camp takes campers into the heart of Yellowstone National Park, where adventure and discovery await at every turn. Take a ride on horseback through mountain trails, spotting wildlife and taking in views that stretch for miles. Then, trade saddles for paddles as campers embark on a thrilling whitewater rafting trip, splashing through rapids and working together as a team. Between adventures, campers will hike though the park’s iconic landscapes where they will spend lots of backcountry time in America’s first national park.
- Drop-off and pick-up will be in Livingston, MT. Exact time and location will be shared closer to camp.
- Campers will be tent camping. If your camper needs gear please reach out as we may be able to help!
- Campers over 200 pounds may be limited in activities.
- This camp requires a minimum of 15 registered participants to run.
SPLASH & FLOAT - NEW!
Grades 7-12 | Full Week
Canyon Ferry Lake, MT
Make a splash this summer with a week full of water adventures! The week begins with canoeing on the Missouri River, where campers will learn paddling techniques, teamwork, and water safety skills. Campers will return to the Missouri River for a relaxing float trip. In-between excursions, campers will have plenty of time to swim and slash in Canyon Ferry Lake. Get ready to make unforgettable memories with friends while learning new skills and splashing your way through an amazing summer adventure!
GLACIER NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
Grades 6-12 | Full Week (Badge Work)
West Glacier, MT
Take action this summer and make a difference at Glacier National Park! Working side-by-side with Glacier National Park staff, participants may help remove non-native plants, count huckleberries, or assist in maintaining historic park structures. When not volunteering, campers will hike scenic trails, splash in mountain streams, attend ranger programs, and learn valuable outdoor and camping skills. Campers will sleep in tents and take turns cooking delicious outdoor meals with their units. Families are responsible for transportation to Glacier National Park near West Glacier, MT.
- After registration ends, participants will receive a confirmation letter with detailed directions, a park entrance pass, and a packing list.
- Transportation within the park will be provided.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS (Grades 9-12)

Ready to take your camp experience to the next level? The Girl Scout Counselor in Training (CIT) program helps campers develop leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while gaining hands-on experience as future camp counselors.
Over the course of two levels, CIT I and CIT II, participants learn how to engage and care for campers, lead songs and games, assist staff, and plan meaningful service projects. Through this journey, CITs grow in confidence, responsibility, and creativity, preparing them to lead with compassion and inspire the next generation of Girl Scouts. (CIT I must be completed prior to CIT II.)
To enhance our leadership camps, we will offer this program during select weeks, allowing campers to engage in the Leadership Programs alongside their peers. As we know, learning is most effective in a collaborative environment.
We're seeking Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors who exemplify:

- A genuine passion for mentoring and inspiring younger Girl Scouts.
