The Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming has a number of patches that are specific to Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming. Girls may complete requirements to earn these recognitions throughout the year.
The Animal Awareness and Support Patch Program invites Girl Scouts from Daisies through Ambassadors to explore animal behavior, responsible care, and the financial realities that impact local shelters and rescues. By examining how these pieces connect, girls gain a well-rounded understanding of animal welfare.

Sign Language is a beautiful way to communicate with others. Explore American Sign Language and earn the ASL earned award. Girls will learn how to sign, learn about careers in the ASL field and more. It will open another world of language for you.

Parent/Guardian involvement is necessary for Girl Scouting to be its most effective. With that in mind, GSMW offers the Blue Ribbon Award for girls who parent/guardian is actively involved in her Girl Scout experience. The Blue Ribbon Award patch is earned the first year and each subsequent year a small Blue Ribbon segment is earned.

Some troops go above and beyond in their commitment to Girl Scouting, Those troops are eligible to earn the Outstanding Troop Patch. Troops meeting the requirements will earn the patch with continuing excellence being recognized with a star segment.

Service is a way of thinking and doing. Girls participating in Service to Girl Scouting, Service to Your Community, and Service to Others – are eligible to earn the Honey of a Troop Bee Hive. Continuing service will earn Honey of a Troop Bees.
