Gather together for a special holiday treat at The Roxy Theater where we will view a fun-loving movie that has important life lessons for everyone willing to listen. The Barbie movie is a heartfelt call to be real - to be messy, to be yourself, to embrace and hold space for all the beautiful complexities that come with being human. The show is a brilliant dream of the ways a little more equality, compassion, love and understanding could powerfully transform our world.
We are very lucky Girl Scouts! The Roxy has set-aside an entire theater just for our Girl Scouts and their friends and family, so bring everyone close to you for an easy-going and colorful winter celebration.
During the event, guests may choose to participate in a handful of Barbie-themed activities. Come dressed-up, dressed-down, in costume for the theme or for the holiday, but whatever you choose, come AS YOU ARE! All child participants will receive a movie night fun patch.
The Roxy will have popcorn and refreshments for purchase throughout the event. Girl Scout activities will begin at 4pm, and the movie will start just after 4:30pm.
The Barbie movie has something for everyone, but whether it’s the right movie for you and your kids will depend on your individual comfort level and family values. Registration for this event is $11 per person and closes on December 7th. After December 7th, your program registration is non-refundable.
