Occupational therapy (OT) helps people of all ages with physical, sensory, or cognitive needs and focuses on helping individuals regain independence in daily activities.
Hosted at Rocky Mountain College’s state-of-the-art facility, this program is open to all girls in grades 6-12. During the program, participants will engage in hands-on activities to explore sensory integration, adaptive cooking and dressing techniques for various health conditions, and how assistive technology supports clients.
Experienced OT faculty and current students will guide the girls, sharing their passion for occupational therapy. This expert-led program offers valuable insight into careers in occupational therapy, including becoming a clinician, educator, researcher, or leader in the field.
This program is open to all girls in grades 6-12. Girl Scouts will earn a fun patch, and non-Girl Scouts will receive a free Girl Scouts membership.
Registration for this event is $5 per girl and closes on March 11th. After March 11th, your program registration is non-refundable.
