Step up to the line and discover the thrill of archery! GSMW invites Girl Scouts to an exciting introductory archery series at the indoor shooting sports complex at Deer Creek Shooting Center. For just $12 total, girls will meet every Wednesday in March to learn archery in a safe, supportive, and confidence-building environment. Knowledgeable volunteers from Deer Creek Shooting Center and the University of Montana Shooting Sports Club will guide participants through essential safety, proper form, aiming, and shooting techniques.

As the weeks progress, girls will move from basic skills into scoring rounds and engaging archery games, including the always popular Candy Shoot. In addition to shooting skills, participants will learn about archery equipment, range rules, and shooting sports courtesy, helping them become respectful and responsible archers. Girls will also be introduced to ways they can stay involved in archery beyond this series.

Each session includes a snack and plenty of encouragement as girls build focus, strength, and confidence.  Girls who attend at least three of the four sessions will earn an archery fun patch to celebrate their achievement.

Registration for this event is $12 per girl and closes on February 18th.
After February 18th, your program registration is non-refundable.
