Calling All Cadette, Senior & Ambassador Girl Scouts! You are invited to participate in a Leadership Weekend focused on service, teamwork, and advanced leadership development. During this weekend, girls will work together to build day camps for younger Girl Scouts, practice hands-on leadership skills, and explore pathways toward highest awards.
Leadership Experience Highlights include:
- Collaborate with peers to design and support day camp experiences for younger Scouts.
- Develop advanced leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Learn about leadership opportunities within council camps and programs
- Torch Award Information
Girls who choose to earn their Silver or Gold Torch Award may begin work toward the award during this weekend program. Candidates will need to complete additional follow-up activities and requirements to fully earn the award.
Girls who have not previously attended a leadership camp must register for and attend a mandatory Zoom orientation on Wednesday, April 15th at 7:00 PM.
Important Participation Information:
Girls
interested in serving on the leadership team for Day Camp, the 4-Day
BOCES Camp in Rock Springs, or the Outdoor Adventure Camp leadership
team are strongly encouraged to attend this camp.
If there is a scheduling conflict but you are interested in any of the leadership opportunities listed above, please contact me directly.
Leadership T-shirts are available for $15 for adults who would like a shirt but will not be attending the camp.
This weekend is a fantastic opportunity for older Girl Scouts to grow as confident leaders while giving back to younger girls in our community. We hope to see you there!
Registration for this event is $35 per girl and closes
on April 6th.
After April 6th, your
program registration is non-refundable.
