There's no other Girl Scouts quite like yours! Keep the friendships, confidence, and adventure going by renewing memberships today. The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1 to September 30. Annual membership dues* are $65 for girl members and $30 for adult members.

Renew Your Troop in My GS

As a Troop Leader, you can renew your girls and even your troop volunteers through the online My GS Account (My GS) and using your troop finances.

Would you prefer to renew your Troop via an ACH of your Troop Bank Account? We can do that for you.

STEP 1: LOGIN TO MYGS

Click on the MyGS icon in the upper right corner of this webpage (or on the orange Renew Now button below)
Login to your MyGS account
Select the yellow My Account button in the top right corner

STEP 2: CHOOSE MEMBERS

Click the My Troop(s) tab on the left side (If you have multiple troops, select the troop you would like to renew girls to)
Check the Troop # box for each girl/adult being renewed as well as the Role for adults if resuming role (if renewing inactive members, click the Show Inactive and not returning members button)
Click the green Renew button towards the top of the screen.

STEP 3: MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

For each girl and adult being renewed, ensure that the correct Membership Year is selected
If renewing before October 1, choose Next Year
If renewing after October 1, choose Current Year
For Payment Type, select Credit Card

STEP 4: COMPLETE RENEWALS

Complete the rest of the guided steps
Add your payment information
Click Submit Payment
You will receive a confirmation email confirming your troop renewal

Why isn’t my username working?
Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact our Customer Care team.

Why am I not receiving the password reset emails?
The password reset emails come from gsusacustomercare@girlscouts.org, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact our Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
Our Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account. Contact us to get started.

Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
There are a couple reasons this could happen:

Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact our Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.

You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact our Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
There are several reasons this could happen:

Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Contact us to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.

If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.

When you become a lifetime member, your dues are used to support the Lifetime Membership Endowment Fund, which supports programming for girls in STEM, the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and life skills—areas essential for preparing them to lead a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success.

Lifetime membership is available to any individual who accepts the principles and beliefs of the Girl Scout Movement, pays the one-time lifetime membership fee, and is 18 years of age or older.

Lifetime membership dues are $400.00. A young alum lifetime membership, at the reduced cost of $200.00, is offered to anyone 18 years to 29 years old who was a girl member at any time during her childhood.
